The LCBO will conduct a product availanbility search based on the detailed informtation provided by the customer. The appropriate Supplier or Manufacturer's Representative will be contacted to determine the status of the products availability and if available, what is the minmum order requirement and price? This process can take up to six (6) weeks to complete.
Generally, the minimum order requirement is one (1) case, with no mixed selections. Some suppliers impose a larger minimum order requirement for export orders. A case usually consists of twelve (12) bottles/ cans of the same product but can vary from one (1) to twenty-four (24) bottles/ cans.
To obtain a quote for a particular product, the customer must complete the LCBO's Contact Infomration and Order Forms, available through the Key Documents link. The completed forms may be submitted thorugh the Hello LCBO Email Us.
Once Specialty Services has concluded the search for the product and has contacted the supplier or it's appointed representative, the customer will be contacted with the details and information about the remaining stepes required in placing an order.
The term "Supplier" refers to the manufacturer or producer of a product, this includes the distiller, brewer, wine maker or anyone from whom the LCBO agreees to purchase liquor from. The supplier must generally carry out a substantial part of the manufacturering process, and in all cases, must have full legal rights to sell the product.
Once an order is placed, the import process may take up to six (6) months depending on the products point of origin.
