Background: Direct deliveries to the new Trillium facility
Previously, the LCBO announced the sale and redevelopment of our current Head Office as well as the eventual closure of the Toronto Retail Service Centre (Toronto RSC). At this time, we are on track to move to the new LCBO Head Office later this year and anticipate the Toronto RSC will close by Fall of 2021. We’d like to take the opportunity today to provide you with an update on this and what this transition means for direct delivery vendors that deliver to Toronto RSC.
As you may already be aware, after a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) process, the LCBO selected Trillium Supply Chain to operate a distribution centre to manage the distribution of our e-Commerce, Vintages Shop Online, and Specialty Services. Trillium Supply Chain is an affiliate company within the Supply Chain division of Deutsche Post DHL Group, a leader in supply chain solutions with significant experience in the logistics and warehousing of beverage alcohol in a regulated environment.
Effective May 24, 2021, the LCBO will be using the Direct Delivery Vendor Portal (DDVP) for orders to be delivered to the Trillium facility. This will mean vendors will use the same process for direct deliveries to Trillium as well as all other LCBO stores.
Vendors will be onboarded to the new facility in stages and we will be in touch with each vendor in advance of their first delivery to the Trillium facility. This will include directions to the facility, instructions on how to book an appointment online, as well as answers to frequently asked questions.
Our team is here to support you as you begin delivering to the new facility. Moving forward, please email Store0974@lcbo.com for all questions or concerns regarding direct delivery.
Sincerely,
