As we navigate more transmissible variants of COVID-19, we are making some changes to our mask use requirements to help ensure maximum protection.

Effective tomorrow, December 22, 2021, LCBO employees across our retail network, RSCs, and those working in our offices will follow the below requirements. We strongly recommend the same for visitors to our workplaces: 

  1. Wear an ASTM-2 level mask at minimum. Self-provided N95 or KN95 respirator masks are also acceptable.
  2. Wear two masks on top of each other (i.e., Two ASTM-2 masks on top of one another, or a well-fitted cloth mask on top of an ASTM-2 mask).
  3. Cloth masks used alone or doubled-up are no longer recommended.
  4. Medical accommodations will continue to be managed.
  •  

ASTM-2 masks are currently provided at retail stores. Ask a manager on arrival if you do not have an ASTM-2 with you.

Correct and consistent mask use is a critical step everyone can take to prevent getting and spreading COVID-19.  Thank you for your continued partnership.
